Another ADU in the Travis Heights neighborhood, this time with Sidetracked Studio. Working around some giant heritage trees (what else is new?), we’re slipping this 2 story guest house next to the new pool.
The original plan was to keep the home, add a bit of square footage, remodel the rest. In the end, it just wasn’t cost effective. The pool was too funky, the plumbing was trashed, there was no saving the house. Sarah Bullock McIntyre beautifully reimagined the home on this enormous tree-filled lot in Cherrywood. Final photos and a fantastic article about the project can be found in Domino magazine.
An exciting new project with Brett Grinkmeyer. Lots of demo, mess, reconfiguration, and steel supports. More photos to come as we make progress.
We’re excited to hand off the keys to the clients, they were so very patient during the craziness of the pandemic construction slowdown. This beautiful design by Element 5 Architecture deserves professional photos. Those are still to come… The original structure in Rosedale was carted off to a new lot, not demolished and dumped in the landfill. We built a new pool deep on the back of the lot, then built the new home in front. Until pro photos take place, these shots will have to do. And they don’t do this home justice. It’s beautiful!
Just getting started on this one, a tear down in Westlake where the homeowner is her own architect. Very exciting new construction starting now.
